Hibernate after Computer Scan

I'm on Windows 10, I've changed the settings so that when I press the power button in start  menu, it says hibernate, but I can't get my virus scanner to hibernate once it's done scanning!! :( ;(  ;(

I'm very upset by this, and am wondering if there's any way to get it to work?

Hello and welcome to the forum Steve. :)

Is this a scheduled scan? If so you can select that action from the page where you select your targets to scan. Click on the gear icon:

Otherwise, if you are just doing an on-demand scan, just click on the box at the bottom of the "Computer scan" page:

I'm sorry, I guess I should've been more specific, but when I press Hibernate, it just says "Sleep,". Literally it refuses to Hibernate. But thanks for the response
