  1. You can upload them to a cloud service (like Microsoft's One Drive) and send Marcos the link.
  2. I use Ghostery in addition to a VPN. Of course check your browser to see if it is sending a "Do not track" signal in addition to blocking any tracking.
  3. Hello Rod. See https://support.eset.com/kb3466/ as per Marcos's instructions, then send him the ELC logs via PM (Private Message...you can do so by hovering over his name and then select "message"). Be sure to open a case with your local customer care.
  4. And we are glad to have you here ebill. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  5. Hello lucylia and welcome to the forum. Glad you are here As Marcos said "there is no security solution capable of 100% detection of threats. In real world results may be quite different then in tests, not only in terms of detection but also in terms of footprint." That being said, I have been using ESET on my Windows machine for quite of number of years and am very happy with its day to day real world usability and dependability (seat of the pants dynamics...if you will). The Support team is very good, in addition to having some very bright users and ESET Moderators/Staff on this forum. I encourage you to give ESET a try. Regards.
  6. The latest IE version is 11.0.6 which I use with BPP and I have no issues. I also use EIS 11.1.54.0. Perhaps you should try that (IE11.0.6 that is).
  7. Hello and welcome to the forum Alexpl. Glad you are here. You may want to review this KB. https://support.eset.com/kb3207/

  9. Yes...it is the users choice to do whatever s/he chooses to do. I find it curious that you did not quote all of Marcos' post. For example you did not include... I do not know mockingbird's reason for this foolishness. Nor do I want to know as it's none of my business. It is his/her choice to do whatever s/he chooses. v8 good as new? I think not. We all have the ability to do whatever we choose. But we also have to be ready to pay the consequences of our actions. Whatever that may be. It's that simple.
  10. v8 is not listed because it's coming up on its end of life at the end of 2018. It's no longer available for download from the ESET download servers. https://support.eset.com/kb3678/ (see basic support).
  11. Try https://support.eset.com/kb2885/?viewlocale=fr_FR
  12. Hello jems. On occasion, I also loose the ESET icon in the taskbar....a reboot always corrects that issue. I doubt that the language would change all by itself. Did you do anything with your ESET product? In any event, I would uninstall and re-install your product. Here are the links for the process including the live installers: https://support.eset.com/kb2788/?_ref=zap Or should you want to the manual uninstall using the ESET Uninstaller toll see: https://support.eset.com/kb2289/?_ref=zap Should you want to use the offline installers see : https://support.eset.com/kb2885/ You always have another option......learn to read, speak and write French. You'll be a hit on the 14th of July! Good luck and good to see you again.
  13. Hello chris020. Glad you are here.
  14. Welcome to the forum Siggi.
  15. It seems that Microsoft (not ESET) had caused much user consternation with that update...see https://forum.eset.com/topic/15309-win-update-4093118repeating/?tab=comments&_fromLogin=1
  16. Welcome archampion to the forum. I look forward to reading your posts. There is much good information shared here. I hope you enjoy your visits. No A/V program is 100% (and nothing in this world is 100%)....but I think ESET does very good. Best Regards.
  17. Thanks for the additional info itman. Just by what I've read, it seems that MS isn't really sure it knows what it's doing.
  18. Yes I saw that. I uninstalled 4093113 (as I previously mentioned), rebooted and NOW 4093118 shows as being installed. Did another update check, and 4093118 (security update-Important) is not coming up, only 4093113 (April 17, 2018—KB4093113 (Preview of Monthly Rollup-Optional)). Both were released April 17, 2018. As 4093113 is optional, I am going to hide that one and just wait and see what happens.
  19. Thanks Marcos, I don't think ESET is the culprit...but I'll keep that in mind. Just checked and I do not see 4093118 as being installed. I "think" it was released in their update with 4093113 which I see was installed. So I am uninstalling 4093113, will reboot and then run Win updates and see what I get. I will advise.
  20. Is anyone else having issues with Windows Update (Win 7 in my case) continually needing/repeating to be installed? I've installed it 4 times now and it's still showing as being needed. ESET EIS is also reflecting the Win Update request. I've tried using the Win Update trouble shooter with no luck. Also tried doing the command prompt thing and the commands are denied (see:https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-update/windows-update-say-i-need-kb4093118-even-after-it/f2a00be9-3328-42a6-aa8a-80d272518457 ) I guess I'll try uninstalling and see what happens. Anyone have any suggestions? The Win Support website has no real help other than what I previously mentioned.
  21. Hello guitareth. See if these KBs help. https://support.eset.com/kb552/ then https://support.eset.com/kb2476/
  22. Hello blaxxz. Not sure where (country wise) you are located, but I do not believe that ESET solicits license renewal/extension by e-mail. I am in the USA and have been with ESET for years and have never received an e-mail concerning renewal/extension. ESET uses in-program (i.e...in NOD32, EIS, ESSP) notifications to let you know when your license is about to expire. I am not sure what happens in other parts of the globe, but it smells fishy to me.
  23. Just an update...so far this week, ALL in-depth scans (real time on demand and scheduled) appear to be scanning correctly.
  24. While you are waiting for a Mod to answer your question, here's a link to older ESET versions should you want to take it one step at a time. https://support.eset.com/kb2885/ I would think your could just over lay them. Or you could do a clean install by Uninstalling them https://support.eset.com/kb6338/ or us the ESET Manual uninstaller tool https://support.eset.com/kb2289/
