There are mixed multiple layers and features, to clarify them: ESET Browser Privacy & Security = browser extension with privacy and security features for visited websites and user data/settings Safe Banking & Browsing = protected browser that allows you to run isolated browser instance from desktop shortcut, or protect existing browser when Secure all browsers setting is On Regarding to blocked file, wait 1-2 days for ESSP 17.1 update where you will have a possibility to manually allow blocked file on your own. When you trust your vendor that inject that file to your browser, you will be able to allow it. Of course such action may brings browser unstability, but when something goes wrong, you will know what products are in conflict, how did you do that and how to restore it back.
  2. Based on your logs, you have installed a lot of apps. When you restore W11 from a clean install backup, did you already have those apps? Do you have connected any other HID (keyboard type) device to your PC except keyboard and mouse? I mean any other device that can create and send input messages to PC (musical instrument, device for media postprocessing, ...).
  3. I tested it on Chrome, Edge, Firefox and it works as expected. Please follow the instructions from my previous comment to identify the problem

If you have Secure Search enabled in Browser Privacy & Security in MS Edge browser and search results doesn't work on bing search result or google search result (please test both), please post here a screenshot of random search result with vissible URL bar, where it doesn't work. Additionally you can do following: Close the MS Edge Go to ESET Security > Help and support > Technical Support > enable Advanced logging Open MS Edge and reproduce the problem Disable Advanced logging Download ELC, collect log and upload it here

ESET Browser Privacy & Security extension doesn't work without ESET product and for now there are some technical reasons in the background, why another Chromium/Firefox based browsers are not supported. We know about it and we're working on it so I believe you will see the extension working on Brave soon.
  7. No data is currently stored (apart from the internal state/settings of the extension itself). No logging of browser history, no sending data to the server.

  11. When you open Firefox and enter about:crashes URL, do you see some crashes? Can you send us any of them? You will find them in directrory %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\, just zip this directory and upload it here. Thank you.
  12. Certainly not, just as we can see a useless picture based on 2 puzzle pieces. But I see your point, wait for the puzzle pieces that are only in the factory right now. As for DuckDuckGo or Startpage, once you open this search engine, you are no longer a generic user who randomly clicks through the internet. It doesn't mean we shouldn't support these search engines, I just saying that there are people who require proactive protection more than you do. I appreciate your insight into the topic.
