  1. 10 devices?! Oh , it's clear to me that if I move to the USA, I should insure even the microwave! But seriously, what an aggressive consumer practice.
  2. It looks quite interesting. On the other hand, I couldn't help but laugh when I read that your VPN provider allows you to reduce the price by eliminating locations and ESET only agrees to sell us the VPN if we use 5 accounts. How ironic.
  3. Considering that ESET has entrusted the service to an external company, which one has it been? I mean, if ESET has contracted it will be because it seems to them a good and safe service to their customers. So, if we have to look at an external service (if we were interested) I think that many of us prefer to consult the individual offer of your provider.
  4. I get the point. However, I used the option of placing the websites manually as no governmental identity in my area was recognised and the banking ones went depending on which domain they did or did not go on. I think leaving that option would have been fine as the work was on the user and not on keeping a list of domains up to date.
  5. Yes, I read the update notes. Just in case I haven't put it very well, why was this change necessary? Is it temporary?
  6. Hello, With the new update I have found that some payment protection settings have been changed. One of the changes is that I have lost the option to use protected browsing on certain websites via redirects. Now I either have it always disabled, always enabled or I have to run the browser manually. Why? I don't understand the change. The convenience of having the list of mandatory websites is gone. I hope this is temporary.
  7. Hello, I can confirm that I have not lost that setting. However, I have lost the option to use protected browsing on certain websites via redirects. Now I either have it always off, always on or I have to run the browser manually. Why? I can't understand the change. The convenience of having the list of required websites is gone. I hope it's something temporary.
  8. Hello, With the new ESET update the new Browser Privacy & Security extension has been added for all common browsers on the market. I have installed it just to try it out, just curious. When I went to the Firefox add-ons, I found this review on the extension: "Spyware. deceptive company". Obviously, I don't accuse ESET of anything (although the man in the review seems not very happy with the new service), but I would like to know what the extension is going to do in the background. The memory of Avast's malpractice with their extensions is still fresh in my mind, so I'm worried about ESET's possible commercial plans. Is ESET going to keep the collected data anonymised or will it be sorted by unique IDs? How long will the data be kept on ESET's servers? Is there a chance it will be sold or, as various legal teams like to say, "transferred to third parties to maintain or improve our services"? To what extent is the data collected and is the entire browser history logged? Thank you very much for your understanding.
  9. Hello, I totally agree with Damjan. I would consider upgrading from premium to ultimate if it wouldn't be linked to using 5 licenses. It's just that it's simple, I don't have five devices to secure. I have ESET for one computer and if we add my mobile, that's two devices (although I have no interest in mobile antivirus). Either I start securing the TV, fridge and microwave or there's no way I'm going to use all the licences. If you could pass the question on to the appropriate department, we would appreciate it. On the other hand, just out of curiosity, can you tell us which VPN provider ESET use?
