  1. Are you sure that is the correct IP that you should connect to ?
  2. An older topic with the same problem as you , try Marcos' steps if none of what we told you worked https://forum.eset.com/topic/13599-no-internet-access/ It's just uninstall (don't keep any settings) and re-install.
  3. Right click the EIS icon in the toolbar , is it blocking the internet connection? Disabling the firewall makes your internet run without a problem?
  4. If you exclude it , ESET will not be able to protect your Outlook as far as I know , it should be the same as like disabling mail scanning because you only use Outlook for your email so excluding it is almost the same as disabling it I will tag @Marcos maybe he could provide you more help than me and the support did provide.
  5. That's weird , Did you try to contact the local ESET support through ESET Endpoint?
  6. Do you get an error message while trying to run the ESET plugin in Outlook?
  7. That hang might be because of ESET trying to scan the document that you have opened and/or the email, could you please specify how much time is the hang when you try to open? And your HDD is fast or is it slow in general?
  8. Before the installation it didn't hangup? , like when you try to disable the Endpoint does it help with Office?
  9. Anytime when you have 2 AVs that do scan as real-time then they will cause a conflict or cause problems, you could have a scanner that doesn't scan at real-time to be a backup for your real time anti virus , but both of them running as realtime will just make conflicts and problems. I am glad that you figured it out
  10. Try to load this into a USB and then do a scan for the infected PCs : https://www.eset.com/int/support/sysrescue/ Remember to unplug the infected PCs from the network so the virus cannot spread itself through the network, for more information about Windows recovery you can check here : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12415/windows-10-recovery-options If you could ask the people who work on these PCs what really has happened when the PC got infected , which website did they access or what file they have opened might help you also knowing what really has happened or from where did it come.
  11. If it's newly installed Windows , can you double check the time and date in the Windows if they are set correct? , if not then that would be the reason for every untrusted certificate because there is no sync between the time.
  12. I am going to upgrade at the end of the trial license , but I just wanted to try it for Linux before, but I wish there was an IDS protection with it. Thank you.
  13. I have tried to Google for the default user and password but nothing could be found about this , there is something wrong I think Maybe the SysRescue is corrupted on the USB? did you try to re-download and re-install it? There is no website even on this forum has listed something like user and password for the SysRescue , the only thing about username and password for the SysRescue is about using a username and password for the update channel which you don't need because SysRescue is a free software. I will try to see why the GUI is freezing.
  14. Excluding it from scanning should help as then ESET will stop trying to scan Chrome I am not experiencing any problems as I don't use Chrome.
  15. Try running the program with sudo see if it makes any difference.
  16. Can you please post which game is this? , I can relate to same problem with other people that had troubles with games protected by Denuvo
  17. Sorry for the double post but unfortunately no one is answering me from the support desk. Is it not an important problem? not like breaking problem? I could find this while doing a netstat : unix 2 [ ACC ] STREAM LISTENING 30140 @/tmp/esets.sock@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @Marcos
  18. I also wonder why a Browser isolating itself from any scan/injection could lead to a BSOD , but I never experienced any of this because I don't use Chrome at all. It might be because of ESET is trying to get access to the browser while the browser has isolated itself and is running in mostly a sandbox , but will that cause a BSOD? , I don't know it might be, Just switch to Firefox or any other browser(depending on your preference) till they fix that issue to be in the safe side without errors and BSODs
  19. It can be , some users are experiencing crashes due to this update and some like you aren't experiencing any troubles but the message from Google Chrome about the incompatibility and asking you to remove your incompatible apps But I prefer to switch browser more than to be without an Anti-Virus while using Windows especially, I don't trust Microsoft to be without anti-virus even though Windows Defender can run in background but I rely more on ESET.
  20. Chrome has updated their browser and you could say that they have isolated their browser mostly like a sandbox so AVs cannot scan the browser now , so that's why you are getting incompatibility issue. Try to switch to Firefox for now till Google fixes that problem , because as far as I think it should happen with every AV you can use from Windows Defender on to every other AV.
  21. It shouldn't matter where your games are installed if in different partition or same partition as ESET , when you go into a full-screen mode in-game then the gamer mode should turn on automatically if I remember correctly.
  22. Just use Firefox/PaleMoon in the meantime till Chrome fixes that problem because you will keep experiencing problems because ESET AV won't stop trying to scan the browser because it has been designed to do so , and Firefox should be lighter on RAM usage that's for the positive thing. Having no problems using Firefox over here and sometimes I do use Palemoon also. Report back if you get any problems
