  3. Hi, We use Eset Endpoint Security version 7.0 and ESMC to manage clients. We need to know the following things. Please assist. 1. Is it possible to pause the protection of clients for the specific time frame from ESMC? 2. How to configure a policy to enable pause protection from a client side? (With our current configuration we not allowed to pause real-time protection of the client. It is not editable and locked.) Thanks!
  4. Hi, We currently use ESET Remote admin agent 6 +ESET Endpoint security v6.6 for clients and need to upgrade our remote clients (around 1800) to the latest version. We already installed ESMC to a separate server and need to report all existing remote agents to the new server. Is there any way to do this without reinstalling new version on existing client machines? Please Assist. Thanks!
  5. Hi, we use Eset endpoint security 6.6 versions and today we experienced a virus inflection on some of our machines. As symptoms, we identified that unable to open any application on machines and error appearing "you do not have permission to open this file".After that machine restarts automatically and unable to boot OS. Both Windows 7 and 10 pro machines have been infected and also unable to run system restore as well as windows repair. The thing is ESET already up to date and runs on these machines normally before threat inflection. Did anyone experience this scenario recently? We also sent inflected machine logs to eset for further inspection. Furthermore, did anyone have a recovery tool to restore the OS?? Quick responses highly appreciated. Thanks!
  6. Hi, Thanks for the reply. We use ERA server and ERA proxy in same machine.I need to know is it possible to update our all clients (Around 1869 clients) from this HTTP proxy? or we need to install separate proxy? if yes approximately how many proxy do we need to install all our clients?
  7. Hi, Yes we use v6.6 in mirrors.We do not use mirror tool, We created policy for mirrors and mirror file storage path set to C:/ partition which OS runs. We Shifted to mirrors to decrease our network traffic.We have identified that when mirrors updating it downloads around 200 MB per day.Is this a normal thing? Also need to know that mirror tool is better than creating mirror from assigning a mirror policy? ? Thanks!
  8. Thanks for the reply.Could you please explain why HTTP proxy is better than a mirror? We have identified that newly installed client get updates around 200MB. We have 1862 clients from several branches and 1M VPN links installed.Currently we using mirroring for updates. We also using HTTP proxy for updating our servers. I need to know that only one HTTP proxy is sufficient to update all our clients? or we need to install HTTP proxy on several locations? what is the recommended number of clients that possible to update from a HTTP proxy? Thanks!
  9. Hi, We use update mirrors to deploy updates to clients. I need to know is there any solution to resolve the "file not found on server" error without reinstalling ESET or updating from ERA proxy? Versions we use: ERA 6.5 / Mirror ESET 6.6 / clients 6.5 We have 1862 clients and its difficult to reinstall ESET versions.Please give a solution to this matter without reinstalling eset. Thanks!
  10. Thanks for the quick response.We use ESET product for mirroring. ESET remote administrator 6.5 version and for clients ESET endpoint security 6.5 and 6.6 versions.We identified this error reporting on ESET endpoint security 6.5 installed clients.

Hi, We have facing some detection engine update issues from today on words.We use update mirrors to deploy updates to clients.Mirror update completed successfully but clients getting failed with below error.Please look into this matter ASAP.I have also tried with clear update cache option also.But it not worked.

Hi, I need know some information about Update mirror process. 1.Is it possible to delete old update mirror files which downloaded and stored in mirror server? 2.Is there any task to delete update mirror files from ERA web console? 3.what is the minimum terms of update storage that need to keep to update newly installed ESET endpoint security application?
