  1. Description: A "Reset to Default" option for different parts of the ERA. Detail: This one has mainly been discovered due to my own fault. There are many things that can be played with within ERA which is great, however I think there are some of us that might play a little too much and then get to a point where we've changed so much of something that it doesn't work or doesn't give you what you want. For areas such as reports and policies, it might be a good idea to have a button that you can click while editing that restores the default values. That way, if you play around too much and feel like you just want it back to how it was before, you have a reset button as a saviour.
  2. Description: Enable right-click and double-click in ERA Detail: ERA is one of the most easy-to-use management services I have used. However i believe that to make it more ergonomical there should be a functionality that lets users double-click on something. For example, when wanting to generate a report you first have to click on the report, then go down to the "GENERATE NOW" button and click that. I feel like adding the ability to open reports and other things with a simple double-click action would improve accessibility. The right-click I admit is quite an odd suggestion seeing as if you click on a field once it brings up a menu etc, however, again for things like editing reports, you first have to click the report, then click on the little cog icon over to the far right, and then click on edit. Would it not be easier just to be able to right click the report and choose edit? A very pedantic suggestion I know...
  3. Hi @mfichera, Something like this? Regards, Kieran Barry
  4. Issue still persists unfortunately. I find it strange how it only seems to be affecting one machine in the company. (It would be the MD's machine too, sod's law)
  5. Hi Marcos, It seems to be blocked in every browser, but only on this machine. I have tried with various other machines using different browsers and they are all working except for our MD's machine. Regards, Kieran Barry
  6. Hi guys, We've run into a problem with ESET installed on our MD's machine. He is trying to access kayak.com and it doesn't seem to be allowing him access. What's strange is that he has exactly the same settings as the other 140 machines that we have here and all 139 of them can access this site without any issue. I have tried adding the URL to the allowed list. I have tried adding the certificate to the allowed certificate list etc. I have disabled SSL/TLS protocol filtering and that seems to have done the trick, however I would rather not keep this off. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do. Regards, Kieran Barry
  7. Hi @mfichera and @Marcos, Is this what you would be looking for?
  8. Hi @Marcos, Don't worry about this anymore, I finished deploying the product last night so won't be getting any more emails from now on. Thank you anyway! Regards, Kieran Barry
  9. Will do this tomorrow for you when I can deploy to a machine that isn't being used.
  10. I've managed to create a report that tells me if a computer has not been scanned in the last 7 days and a separate report that details what machines have never been scanned. I am not sure if you can have a report that details both as the filters would cancel each other out.
  11. Hi mfichera, If you go to the ERA and navigate to Admin > Server Tasks > Generate Report > New... You can set up a report that you can either send to email or save to file. I think the best report for you to choose would be the one called "Last scan". I hope this helps! Regards, Kieran Barry
  12. Hi @johnnybon, I've always found that when my deployment fails it is always a good first step to check the machine's event viewer logs. They can sometimes give a good representation of what error has occurred and that can help in troubleshooting. Regards, Kieran
  13. That is actually a very nice addition. Now admins can explain to users where to go if they need the latest versions of products. A nice improvement to the forums. It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop (some more Confucius for you there)! Cheers Tom! EDIT: However saying that, would it be a good idea to list the post prevalent older versions of products? In my experience it has been hard to find these and maybe having somewhere on the forum that you can point to when suggesting an install of an older version would be a good idea?
  14. Hi @czechoto, Can you specify what software you are using? Is it Endpoint Security, Endpoint Antivirus? and what version? Can I also point you in the direction of this thread that has been created recently, detailing the same issue: here. Thanks, Kieran Barrry
  15. Hi again guys, This isn't necessarily a problem more than it is a nuisance. Whenever I deploy to a new machine, I get an email like the one below: I will keep getting these until the machine in question has been restarted, is this a normal part of the installation process? Just asking as when I am rolling out to 40-50 people at a time, I get 40-50 emails like this suddenly in my inbox. Thanks! Regards, Kieran Barry
  16. I believe that the point of the subscription service is to offer an ongoing service. Most people don't just buy anti-virus for one year and then stop using it so it is automatically started. However, all you need to do is contact ESET UK Support and they will cancel auto-renew for you, they did it for me in about 5-10 minutes.
  17. Hi @Leonsk, Sorry to hear you are having issues with your EIS product. Have a look here: https://support.eset.com/kb2911/?locale=en_US&viewlocale=en_US Maybe this can help?
  18. I don't think it's the fact that posting it here is unsafe, it's just not letting me view the folder. You have it compressed in a zip folder, try uploading it as a .txt file. For all I know only moderators may have the required permissions to view files here.
  19. Hey @pappkarcsi, Is everything working okay for you now? Regards, Kieran
  20. Fantastic thank you! Finally managed to cross the last machine off my deployment list, today is a good day... Regards, Kieran
  21. Hi @Peter Randziak, Sorry to be a pain, please could you point me in the direction of where I can find an installer for version 6.6.2078.6. If i go to here: https://www.eset.com/us/business/endpoint-security/windows-antivirus/download/ It comes up with what version I want to install but when I try to choose Windows XP 32 bit, I don't see an option for it. I could just be very blind and have missed something obvious (been known to happen frequently) Regards, Kieran Barry
  22. Hi @Lastmanstanding, It might be a good idea to take a screenshot of the error and post here as it may have an error code that can be used for troubleshooting. Regards, Kieran Barry
  23. Hi @erbrew22, Can I point you in the direction of: https://help.eset.com/epca/1/en-US/rules_appguard.html I believe this will help. Regards, Kieran Barry
  24. Most of the time it is used for accessibility. Users can choose whether to sign in via their social media profiles to make it easier to sign up. Also, I'm pretty sure that when you login via these portals, the social media site will tell you what information is being shared. I know this happens with facebook as it will say something like "This won't let the application post to your timeline" or "This will allow *application* to see your date of birth and email address" or something along those lines. I use Facebook a lot for my business and if a user wants their business account to be associated with ESET then I'm guessing this is what the social media sign in options are for.
  25. Hi @Peter Randziak, Thanks for the update, I will try installing v 6.6.2078.6 and let you know how I progress. Thanks for letting me know! Regards, Kieran Barry
