  1. I can see that it says the "Installation success or error status: 1603". Here is what ESET has on fixing the error status 1603: https://support.eset.com/kb3363/.
  2. How about trying to check the Event Viewer on one of the machines affected to see if there are any details in there that may help? Or as I mentioned earlier, try uploading your log file to a safe location such as OneDrive or Dropbox so that it can be viewed.
  3. On one of the machines that you are trying to deploy it to, it may be a good idea to check the Event Viewer as this will tell you why it has failed. If you click Start and search for Event Viewer and opening it, you can connect to another computer by right-clicking on the "Event Viewer (Local)" bit on the left hand side and then entering the machine name in question. Most of the time, I have found that the failure of an install is found within Windows Logs > Application. See if you can find anything here?
  4. Hi @pappkarcsi, Try following the instructions here: https://support.eset.com/kb6820/ Maybe this can help? It doesn't look like its your parameters that are making the installation fail. Have a look anyway and see if it helps or not!
  5. Hi bbahes, What models do you use? I have very very limited knowledge but I've heard a lot of people complaining about a Mediaserver package slowing speeds drastically. No idea if this could be of any help to you but I thought I would give it a try!
  6. Hi Christian, Glad you managed to fix the issue! Did you locate this through using the Process Monitoring tool?
  7. Hi @Peter Randziak Thanks for letting me know, that being the case, if I install version 6.5, will it be compatible with the web-console that we are using, which I believe is version 6. Or shall I just go ahead and let everyone know that ESET does not support XP anymore?
  8. Hi Christian, Would you mind uploading this to a platform such as OneDrive or Dropbox, as I'm guessing for security reasons it does not allow me to look at the zip file.
  9. Sorry my bad, Maybe trying to create a log file and uploading it here would be a good idea, that would give a better understanding of the potential problem. To do this, use the Process Monitor as mentioned in the instructions here: https://support.eset.com/kb6308/. You will need to recreate the issue and try to save the log file as an unfiltered log and then compress it and upload to a location such as Dropbox or OneDrive.
  10. Hi Marcos, Thanks for coming back to me, please could you direct me in the right direction for this? I can't seem to find a version compatible with Windows XP 32 Bit. I forgot to note as well that this version of Windows is being run on a Virtual Machine, powered by VMWare.
  11. Hi, Okay no worries, would you mind taking a screenshot of the options that you currently have set for Web Access Protection?
  12. Hi Both, When you open the URL Address Management > Address List window, is there a category that you can edit called "List of allowed addresses"? What happens if you add the URL to there and remove it from the "List of addresses excluded from checking"? Let me know if this helps!
  13. Hi there, I am trying to install a 32-bit 6.62089.1 Version of ESET on a Windows XP machine. When I try to install, I get the error "An unexpected internal error occurred 0x000003ED (1005). Please contact the ESET Support for further assistance." As you can see below: Has this error been seen before and is there a fix? Any suggestion would be helpful as this is one of the last deployments on my list! Thanks, Kieran
  14. Could this issue be potentially caused by ESET being set to scan on File Creation or File Execution? If it is a large file then it may take a while for it to scan the whole file, therefore slowing down the machine? If you go to the Advanced Setup of the ESET application, Navigate to "Detection Engine > Real-time file system protection" and check if these settings are on in the "SCAN ON" section. It is recommended that these settings are left alone obviously as disabling them could create a vulnerability for your machine, but it will be good to see if it narrows down the cause of the issue. Let me know if this helps or not!
  15. Hi, If you go to Setup > Web and Email, is the Web access protection option switched on? Are your policies managed by the ERA? If so then there could be a setting on the policy which is stopping the application from starting this particular setting. Let me know if this helps!
  16. Hi Ed, If you create a new all-in-one installer, one of the first options that pop up is a language option, in which you can choose what language you would like the installation to be. That language is then reflected in the filename. For example, an installer with the English language option selected will have "en_US" at the end of the filename. I hope this helps!
