  1. Hello Hentaixen, you have exported list of scans, but we would need log from particular scan, which should we check exported. So open one scan log by double clicking on it, right click on any entry in it and select "Export..." and save the log as .txt file.
  2. Some router are not able to forward the parental DNS requests properly so it takes considerable time, or the requests may even time-out. Selecting other DNS server (Google DNS, OpenDNS or any other public DNS service) than your router overcomes this issue and by that speeds resolving and loading of pages.

  4. Hello Mzbcracker, I think that the easiest solution without complicated troubleshooting would be simple reinstallation. You could export the settings and re-import them after fresh installation.
  5. Hello, TCP Deny communication for svchost.exe might be causing the issue. Open Zone and rule setup window and select "Toggle detailed view of all rules" and delete all blocking or asking rules for Host Process for Windows services and System, which are not grayed (default ones)

  8. Hello MP, yes there are various mechanisms to improve performance over time like Smart optimization and Cloud enhanced whitelisting. I remember that there were some issues with performance during compiling, exclusions on compiler's work folder should resolve it.
  9. Hello, I just tried to reproduce it with current version of ESET Endpoint Security 5.0.2214.4 and version of Chrome 29.0.1547.57 m and I got no error and https scanning is working flawlessly. Do you have all browsers closed, when are you enabling SSL scanning? What exact error message do you get?
  10. Hello Trooper, sadly there is no information, what kind of malware are we talking of. There is described heuristic detection based on exploiting particular vulnerability, which can be possibly exploited by any kind of malware. I would recommend you to use ESET SysRescue to scan the system offline. In case it detects something from this list use appropriate tool. Please let us know the result.

Hello doctor-z, there are two possible ways ho to resolve the issue: 1. enable logging of all blocked connections, reproduce the issue by invoking Windows updates and search in the log file, which connections has been blocked and allow them 2. reset firewall settings back to defaults and create them from a scratch.

Hello, try to follow steps described below: 1.) create and save MSI package with configuration (name it PKG_With_CFG.MSI) 2.) create and save start.bat file which will contain following: PKG_With_CFG.MSI /qn REBOOT="ReallySuppress" 3.) open ERA Manage Packages option 4.) in Type choose option Custom package 5.) click on Create... button 6.) click on Add File button and add the files PKG_With_CFG.MSI and start.bat 7.) in the Package entry file option please confirm start.bat file 8.) click on Create button 9.) click on Save as ... button and save the package 10.) click on Save As ... button (on the right side in the section Create/Select installation package contents) and save the package. You should only have chance to save it as exe file this time. Running the file created in the step 10. of above mentioned procedure will ensure that installation will be running with the parameters defined in start.bat file and with configuration saved in the PKG_With_CFG.MSI. Please let us know the result.

  21. Hello LoneGeek, Self-defense is part of HIPS so it protects your system by it's means. When you disable HIPS it won't work.

  23. Hello SyRenity, in case you would like to set just the primary ERA server than yes, but if you would like to set secondary server, authentication and other things the import would be easier. Of course it depends on discipline of your users. I would recommend you to monitor connections via Clients tab and compare it with actual state on your network. How many workstations do you have approximately?
