  1. The website has been analyzed and will remain blocked based on our findings.
  2. This was a problem with VSD 8412, fixed in VSD 8413 issued more than 24 hours ago. To deny submission of the files, deselect them and confirm it by clicking Submit.
  3. It must have been something on your part, nothing was updated in EAV that could have affected this.
  4. We actually plan to change the system of rule identification in future versions so that newly created custom zones can be used immediately for rules.
  5. The current version of ESET Endpoint Antivirus is based on v5, there's no v6 yet. The latest available version is 5.0.2214 which is fully supported by the current version of ESET Remote Administrator.
  6. One thing to keep in mind - even if an error is reported during archive extraction, it doesn't mean the archive was not scanned at all. It's rather that some files were not unpacked completely. Moreover, potential malware in an Indigorose installer package would be detected upon installation by real-time protection so the user would be protected anyways. As for why some free AV programs don't report any errors, it's likely they don't scan inside Indigorose packages at all. You can check out the number of scanned files; if only 1 is reported as scanned, then the archive was not scanned internally.
  7. I've found several reports of it, for instance, in the Czech malware forum www.viry.cz. Unfortunately, even the experts there could not come up with a solution and the user had to reinstall the OS and format the USB flash. I'm willing to connect to the computer remotely and check it out myself.
  8. Is there any practical reason why unused servers would need to be removed from the list on clients?
  9. Perhaps the most elegant solution would be creating a CNAME record for the old server name on your DNS server and pointing it to the new server.
  10. If you download and install French version of an ESET product, it will be in French (unless language dlls are corrupted for some reason which is highly unlikely to happen).
  11. I'd suggest that you clear the firewall log, enable logging of all blocked connections in the IDS setup, reproduce the problem and then post your firewall log here. Also don't forget to disable logging as it would make your firewall log grow quickly.
  12. This is a duplicate post, please continue the discussion here.
  13. Try switching the firewall to interactive mode to create the appropriate rules or to learning mode to get the necessary rules created automatically. Once the rules have been created, switch it to automatic mode with exceptions.
  14. If you run a scan via the right-click context menu, make sure to select Clean with ESET NOD32 Antivirus instead of Scan with ESET NOD32 Antivirus. If you run a Smart scan from GUI, it's run in cleaning mode by default.
  15. Threats are cleaned automatically unless you run a scan without cleaning. If you ran the scan via the context menu, make sure to select "Clean with ESET NOD32 Antivirus" from the Advanced options section as opposed to "Scan with ESET NOD32 Antivirus".
  16. Try entering a wrong password 3 times. I reckon you will get a code then based on which customer care will generate an unlock code for your phone.
  17. To Whitesmoke: please stop hijacking other users' threads. Your post was already answered in another thread and the case was closed.
  18. You'll find exclusions in the Configuration editor under Kernel -> Settings -> Exclusions. However, we do not recommend adding any custom exclusions as possible malware in excluded folders would run undetected then.
  19. If you double-click an on-demand scan log record, it should open a new window with scan details.
  20. Please post the on-demand scan log details containing the full path to detected files as well as the threat name and the action taken.
  21. After changing the cleaning mode to "No cleaning" in the Web access protection setup, I was prompted for an action and was able to choose between Disconnect and No action. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend disabling automatic cleaning because: 1, ESET is known for extremely low number of false positives and even in the event of FP you can still restore it from quarantine. 2, you'd have problems cleaning ransomware without using a rescue medium if gui could not display an action prompt window due to malware.
  22. You can upload the file to a safe location and email ESET just the download link.
  23. Probably there's a problem receiving DNS responses to DNS queries. Try changing the DNS server to Google's 8.8.8.8 and see if that makes a difference. For instructions where to change DNS settings, read this article.
  24. Please create a regular account so that you can PM me a SysInspector log for analysis.
  25. Try the following: 1, create a new zone and push the configuration to clients 2, download the configuration from a client and create a new rule. I assume the new zone will appear in the list then.
