  1. Ok, I think I confused it with matching urls in the email body with our url blacklist.
  2. I've inquired developers as to whether the redirector is called from within EIS or when exactly it's used. Will keep you posted.
  3. Filtering by links in the email body should be possible as of EMSX v7 to my best knowledge.
  4. Did you click on a link in EIS? It's a redirector and by default it takes you to your local ESET's website.
  5. Do you mean that you got the error when installing EFSW using the msi installer downloadable from ESET's download page?
  6. If you create a bootable medium with Ubuntu, does it work with your graphic card alright?
  7. There are currently no updates planned. What issues are you having with the current version?
  8. The AV Remover is intended to remove competitive products. Please use the ESET Uninstall tool in safe mode to remove ESET since it doesn't appear among installed programs.
  9. Basically you shouldn't see this MSI installation window. I'd suggest uninstalling ESS and using Live Installer to install the latest version of ESET Internet Security which replaced ESET Smart Security: https://download.eset.com/com/eset/tools/installers/live_eis/latest/eset_internet_security_live_installer.exe.
  10. Whether Gamer mode switches on/off automatically shouldn't be determined by the change of the icon color if it is done quick enough. Did you experience a lag or some other issues while playing a game which could be attributed to ESET being updated at that time? Also you didn't mention what version you have currently installed.
  11. Please run ELC, collect logs and provide me with the generated archive.
  12. Since the product wasn't activated, the public license ID doesn't appear in the product. Drop me a private message with your license key that you entered. As for advanced logging, it should be enabled only when asked for by customer care.
  13. Disabling automatic configuration script in the IE setup will most likely fix the issue:
  14. Please post a screen shot of the activation error that you're getting when attempting to activate ESET. Also post your public license ID.
  15. As I wrote, this is not possible. It's possible to export the configuration to an xml file and extract email addresses from it and vice-versa using a script. Since you don't have any issues with missed spam, then there should be no need to use custom email address blacklist. It's useful in case you receive only spam from particular addresses and it's not always evaluated as spam by ESET's antispam.
  16. If it takes some time to re-establish Internet connection after wakening the system from stand-by mode, the product will try repeatedly to connect to LiveGrid servers several times in certain intervals. Don't know what error 19008 means, will ask developers.
  17. Tomorrow please provide me with very fresh examples of missed spam that went through ESET's antispam. I'll check with developers if they are really very fresh and you received them just seconds or minutes before we added detection. We use various techniques and heuristic methods to identify spam and this can change over time, hence I'd like to check it with as fresh samples as possible.
  18. LiveGrid connections do not occur every 5 minutes, the interval is much longer. Also the product queries LiveGrid servers on a need basis. Normally if a product is activated and updates alright, there's no reason for reporting "Update credentials are not trusted by LiveGrid". This could be theoretically caused by conflicting licenses, however, in that case every attempt to authenticate against LiveGrid servers would fail. Do you mean that in stand-by mode all services are running, network connection is established and communication through all protocols is working? My understanding is that in stand-by mode at least some services enter a power-saving state, otherwise no power would be saved.
  19. It is not possible, at least not currently. Importing a big number of addresses may also have adverse effect on performance. Do you receive a lot of undetected spam in Outlook from those addresses despite having ESET's antispam in place?
  20. Please contact your local distributor. Basically a license key becomes valid as of the day of purchase.
  21. Please note that this forum is not a channel for disputing detections or blocks. Anyways, I've tried to run the app but it could not connect to a server even with ESET disabled. It looks to me like a download wrapper, ie. something that we normally detect as PUA. Please post a screen shot of the alert that you're getting from ESET.
  22. Upload it to Dropbox, Onedrive, etc. and provide me with a download link.
  23. Here in Slovakia the difference in price is 10e between these products for 1-year 1-user license. We also offer a Family pack for 4 devices; the license is for 18 months and the difference in price compared to 1-year 1-user ESET NOD32 Antivirus license is 30e. In other countries partners mainly sell multi-device licenses that can cover up to 10 devices. These packs include not only ESET Internet Security but you can pick any product for consumer users with the exception of ESET Smart Security Premium (ESSP), ie. products for Mac, Linux, Android (ESET Mobile Security, ESET Parental Control) and ESET TV Security for smart TVs and install them on your devices as you need. ESSP is a premium product which is in fact ESET Internet Security with Password Manager and Disk Encryption added. That said, whether you will go for a stand-alone product or a product pack depends on what features you are after and how many devices you want to cover. Of course, since you have an existing license the price for the remaining period would be subtracted from the price of the product you would purchase. I recommend contacting your local distributor who will be happy to assist you. Below is a screen shot of the US website for a 2-year multi-device license for 3 devices:
  24. Just out of curiosity, why did you choose to purchase and install ESET NOD32 Antivirus and not ESET Internet Security? The latter also contains Network protection module which adds protection from network protocol exploits and bots and thus provides better protection against not yet known malware. Network protection made ESET firewall-enabled products to be one of two if not the only one AV to protect unpatched computer from getting hit by the infamous WannaCry ransomware at the time of the outbreak.
  25. Unfortunately, the logs were collected when ESET Endpoint Antivirus was installed. It doesn't contain the option to generate advanced firewall logs. Only products with a firewall (home products EIS/ESSP v11 or Endpoint Smart Security) can create advanced firewall logs that would help determine the cause of the issue. You have two options: 1, Temporarily uninstall EEA and install ESET Internet Security v11. 2, Get an ESET Endpoint Security trial license. I'd go for option 1 since you can activate a 30-day trial version yourself while issuing a trial license for Endpoint Security would take a little longer.
