jgc2016 0
As a new user I may just have made a silly mistake, but in setting parental controls for one user of my Mac I experience an odd result. One website that I wish to block for that user is duly blocked, but I wish to block Twitter for that user and it remains unblocked although listed in the blocked sites. What can I do? ESET Moderators TomasP 318 Posted January 21, 2016 ESET Moderators Share Posted January 21, 2016 Hello, As our Mac product only scans HTTP traffic, websites running on HTTPS (secure connection) are exempt from URL evaluation, as the traffic does not flow through our product and we can't intervene and block/allow the website. Thank you for your understanding. T.
Administrators Marcos 5,394 Posted February 19, 2016 Administrators Share Posted February 19, 2016 This has been reported to our developers; domain blocking should work even if SSL/TLS communication is not scanned.
