Ivica Vugrinec 0
On a Virtual Appliance, how do get trace logs (or any other) so i could analyze agent install failures?
Administrators Marcos 4,704 Posted April 14, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 14, 2015 On virtual appliance, you'll find the server trace log in /var/log/eset/RemoteAdministrator/Server/trace.log. On clients, the trace log for troubleshooting agent-related issues is located in C:\ProgramData\ESET\RemoteAdministrator\Agent\EraAgentApplicationData\Logs\trace.log. haldop 0
Is activation failures shoud be on trace logs too? Which log show activation errors on server (Centos VM)?
ESET Staff MartinK 375 Posted November 19, 2016 ESET Staff Share Posted November 19, 2016 Is activation failures shoud be on trace logs too? Which log show activation errors on server (Centos VM)? Activation is client task, therefore you have to search on specific client machine. In most cases there is no error in AGENT's logs because activation fails inside security products which is not reporting errors to AGENT. Unfortunately I am not sure where to search for endpoint logs.
Administrators Marcos 4,704 Posted November 19, 2016 Administrators Share Posted November 19, 2016 What activation error do you get when attempting to activate Endpoint manually? Do you perform activation using your license key or a security admin account?
