John999 3
While using System Informer ( https://systeminformer.sourceforge.io/ ) I see that hovering on Eguiproxy.exe, a "Signature invalid" message appears (see image below). How is that? Is something missing on System Informer side?
John999 3
I forgot to say that the same thing happens for ekrn.exe
ESET Insiders Minimalist 16 Posted November 29, 2022 ESET Insiders Share Posted November 29, 2022 I checked binaries on my installation and they have two certificates. One is OK but the other gives this error: It seems that it's self signed and root certificate is not installed: John999
Administrators Solution Marcos 4,553 Posted November 29, 2022 Administrators Solution Share Posted November 29, 2022 It should be reported to the developers of System Informer. What matters is that Explorer shows 1 (egui) or 2 (ekrn.exe) certificates as valid. One of the certificates is self-signed, hence the verification fails in Explorer too, however, this is perfectly ok. John999
