Limit CPU Utilization on Servers During Scan

Hello everyone,

 

My organization is planning to deploy ESET File Security on our servers, and we wanted to know if it is possible to set a limit on CPU Utilization.

Hello,

background scans are run with low priority by default. The way CPUs are utilized is fully under control of the operating system. You could probably adjust the CPU affinity for ekrn.exe with Self-defense disabled but I assume this would have an adverse effect on performance.
