Airdrop no longer functions

Hi

Having installed the trial version on my macbook pro (OS Monterey 12.0.1) I am now suffering with airdrop not functioning properly and this is slowing my work progress dramatically.

Is there a setting I need to adjust to allow Airdrop to function properly.

1. When I send to the macbook from my iphone nothing arrives on the macbook

2. When I send to the macbook from my iphone the files arrive on my wife's iphone and not on the macbook

Try switching the firewall to learning mode so that the appropriate firewall rules are created automatically.

Having looked I cannot see where I switch it to learning mode... 🙂

I'm sorry, I meant interactive mode. Learning mode is not supported on Mac OS.
