Remote computer access warning

I received a warning that a computer is trying to access my computer via Google. Is this a threat or am I misinterpreted the warning? I blocked access but I believe this has been going on for at least two years. How do I investigate this other computer? Location? Owner? Can I attempt to access their computer to find out who they are?

I don't think that Google Remote Desktop is that old. Disable it if you are asked about incoming remote connection requests:

I would first check if this Google app has been installed. If so, you can remove it as follows:

Remove Chrome Remote Desktop

On each computer where you want to remove Chrome Remote Desktop access, remove the app:

Go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Add/Remove Programs.

Find the "Chrome Remote Desktop" application.

Click Remove.
