Is there any way to find out what Windows Updates are missing on a computer?

Recommended Posts

I see that Windows Updates are missing on a client.

On the client itself I can see and view the KB numbers in the ESET UI.

Is there a chance to see this information from ESMC via the log collection or any other way?

Wondering the same thing. It would be incredibly useful to see an overview in ESMC of all Windows computers that need updates. It would be even better if we could run reports to see exactly which updates are installed on each client.

I have dabbled with reporting and haven't found a way to obtain this information.

Is there any way we can get this info in ESMC? If not, are there plans to add this functionality in a future release?

As of now finding data about which updates are installed / missing is not available. We are tracking this request, but it’s not yet planned for the future release.

There is one cumbersome way how to get at least list of installed updates -> list is part of SysInspector log that can be individually requested from client machines and rendered in ESMC console. Unfortunately it is suitable just to verify that specific update is installed on specific device ...
