Eset no longer has an icon on RIGHT hand side (by clock) of taskbar.  I have to open it from Start menu.  Also - my help files are in french, which is not much of a help, as i do not speak french.

Do you have the latest version 11.1.54 installed? Is egui.exe in the task manager among running processes? Have you tried uninstalling ESET and installing it from scratch?

Without precise information we can not help, what do you have for an OS installed

I have W-7 Home on this PC.

The GUI Icon is back.  I was unable to get it running under customize - show Icon & notifications.  A re-boot fixed that.

When i access - offline -   HELP & SUPPORT/HELP/OPEN HELP   OR   FIND QUICK SOLUTION  - it is in french?

Hello jems. On occasion, I also loose the ESET icon in the taskbar....a reboot always corrects that issue. 

I doubt that the language would change all by itself. Did you do anything with your ESET product? In any event, I would uninstall and re-install your product. Here are the links for the process including the live installers: https://support.eset.com/kb2788/?_ref=zap

Thanks for the helps.

Tom - took your advice - done an uninstall / install of eset.  Lost all my settings - back at default - i'll get to them. 

But my OFFLINE help is in English again.  Thanks for the kind words as well.  Yeah - would be quite a learning curve - learning French.
