Delete damaged phone from era

Hi,

we have a phone witch is damaged and cant be go online again. We try to delete with and without deactivate licence. It still appear in the lost and found folder.

How we could delete it?

First of all, you have to execute "stop managing task" on the device.

Secondly, after the task is replicated to the MDMcore, remove the device. Without executing "stop managing, uninstall ERA agent" task, the device will keep reappearing. We are streamlining the process for the next version.

Does the "stop managing" task free up the licenses once executed on the device or is there another step before it is released?

Stop managing task sends the kill-switch to the agent instance. When you then remove computer from ERA, that would send another kill-switch to our licensing cloud, to remove the license.

For phones iOS specifically this would be the same?
