ESET Smart Security 7.0.302.0 problem installer

Hi guys
I have a problem with ESET Smart Security 7.0.302.0 ( 64 Bit )
You download the application twice but still the problem exists

 

I think that there is a problem in the package

Please use the Live Installer instead of msi to make sure the msi file downloaded is not corrupt.

Im callin it.

Permission problems with the directory setup is being extracted to.

Or pre-existing malware...

If im wrong, i will continue to help with other ideas . . .

Hello,

Try clearing the contents of the temporary file folders located at C:\WINDOWS\TEMP (used by SYSTEM account) and as specified by the %TEMP% variable (used by currently-logged in user) and then re-running the MSI installer again.

Sorry for breaking into this ongoing thread, but my first thought is that it could be the Windows Installer service that could be corrupted? Try to read throgh this link, it could be that the solution lies here, hopefully: hxxp://support.microsoft.com/kb/2438651/en-us  (under the point " Resolution" there is a software to automatically troubleshoot install problems,if you run the program then remember to reboot the pc before trying to reinstall)
