Windows 10 1903 is starting to roll out - will upgrading be blocked if you have ESET Endpoint Encryption installed?
As far as I know this can be requested at Microsoft :D - don't know where though

We do have this content available

Regarding galaxy's questions about what is "released" with this version, all ESET users should be aware of the *new* update/release model for our products, where we continually push significant changes through uPcu/PCU/module updates throughout the year. This way, you don't have to wait for a yearly, major release to get all the new capabilities/functionalities.

I tried to explain this in the Knowledgebase here: https://support.eset.com/kb2256/

    And again here: https://www.eset.com/us/about/newsroom/corporate-blog/system-update-headaches-eset-is-the-cure/

We published more content regarding what is released in home products:

@foneil I was referring to the under the hood ones.

I think people were expecting more than just an updated GUI and a referral program after waiting a year, which is what the release notes imply.

Thanks for clarifying, I talk often with the product owners about what to include in changelogs and we'll have another discussion after this release using this feedback.

Before the announcement, I checked 'update' and version 12 was offered as a product or program update.

I did not see the the elaborate https://support.eset.com/kb2476/

message mentioning an end-user license agreement. For as far as I know.

    12.0.27.0 I probably should be fine ?

oh well ... I did not uninstall the old product and reinstall the new one. Should I ? The KB article suggests I should

    Clean install isn't necessarily recommended.

The Knowledgebase article is written for the 80/20 users that either find the KB because they are having a problem or that tech support directs users to -- performing the in-product upgrade is perfectly fine and works all the time. If you were to have a tech support agent do it for you and you didn't have any saved configs or anything, as Tom said, it's 6-half-dozen and doing it either way is acceptable.

You can use the method described here to update/upgrade to latest version: https://support.eset.com/kb758/#version

There are actually plenty of changes in the new version, many more than the (4) that is listed against the changelog that is shown against 12.0.27.0

Maybe once the discrepancy in the changelog is noticed and updated then you might be more satisfied ?

What discrepancy do you mean cyberhash, just that we only list 4 changelog items and not more of the "under the hood" ones? Where do you view changelog information and what do you expect to see there? (I ask because I am one of those responsible for compiling and publishing the changelogs)

    Hi guys,

I just saw the announcement of the new Eset version 12. I cannot find any offline installer at the moment and all I can see is the online one. My internet connection is very poor at the moment and most downloads bigger than 20mb get cut-off as my ISP plan is low. I cannot upgrade to a better one because of our poor economics. I can't use the offline installer as it get's cut-off ...

Is there an available offline-standalone installer download link for version 12? I need to update Eset IS and Eset NOD32 AV.

    Please help and thanks.

    Bjorn

And in the future, we keep offline installers linked here: https://support.eset.com/kb2885/

Any help with regards to how to videos/steps ..????

When ESMC released, the ESET Knowledgebase team published content to help users install, deploy, and manage using ESMC. We always take suggestions for new or improved content.

Currently, we have two playlists on our ESETKnowledgebase YouTube channel for version 7 and enterprise products:

    Version 7 Business productshttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHxeNUYCjBXK05lEmQKMwpCqm32gnXWbH

    Version 7 Windows endpoint productshttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHxeNUYCjBXLfu7uqd-cxFCFcoLnXU1XU

Along with the help.eset.com links above, we also have what we call a "Welcome Package" for ESMC, which is a scenario-based installation guide, but we are always looking for feedback on additional scenarios to include:
