Unc3nZureD 0
When I'm trying to uninstall the beta version I'm getting the following error:hxxp://i.imgur.com/hO2HkhA.png I'm trying to uninstall because it affects my performance, especially when browsing on the net. I noticed a huge slowdown with this release installed both in system & internet speed. Sometimes I even have to reload the browser because of some random error which didn't appear before. As 2503 & 2502 error means no admin mode for installer I tried to run it as admin, but still didn't help. Uninstaller didn't have permission to stop the service. Any solutions for this? At the moment I can't restart my OS into safe mode, but soon I will try that one too. By the way I've got Windows 8.1 x64 Edit: I tried to uninstall in safe mode, but uninstallation isn't possible in it. Please try ESET uninstaller tool (hxxp://download.eset.com/special/ESETUninstaller.exe) in Windows safe mode.

Unc3nZureD 0
Thank you, successfully uninstalled it. By the way, just my opinion about the beta: - It's going to be good, however it has quite much flaw, especially with SSL (I was getting tons or errors) - I noticed somewhat slowdown even though I've got an i5 laptop - I don't like to GUI. I know it's the "trend", but I just hate this trend
Gala 0
It's very interesting to hear because I run old comp, Windows 7 pro, 32 bit, sp1 1,00 GB - and have no problems with speed and open pages. It's very light on the system at least to me In fact, it's working better (smoother) then Eset smart8. But I had some problems with installing: First I uninstalled my Eset smart 8 Then I start to run ES9, and it started "removing backup files" - that was very long process and I thought that something is wrong. So I stoped installation. Tried to uninstall. Then my comp. was frozen, I tried to restart for several times. Than start with installaton again. And decide just leave it alone to see what will happen. On the end, everything look just fine, ESET 9 obviously finished with "removing backup files" and it's ok now. Working very nice and it's light. The only thing what is not working is banking protection. I don't know why. P.S. Sorry for my bad English
Gala 0
This beta version can't be uninstalled without manual Eset uninstaller tool. I tried. If something was not working good and you want to reinstall it, it's the best to clean up the disc before install again. And before install beta version, it's very important not just remove/uninstall the older version, but clean the disc as well, and then install Beta. piroxicam 0
This beta version is a little bit buggy. Every time I restart my PC, ESET is gone! It doesn't start and it can't be removed. I then have to manually uninstall it using your uninstaller tool. This happens every time I restart, I've tested it 4 times just to be sure. I had to revert to v8. Sorry! Administrators Marcos 4,706 Posted June 12, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 12, 2015 I faced this problem after trying to load an V8 config into V9 & it messed up "hips". Importing a configuration from v8 to v9 should be possible, however, since each uses a completely different configuration system it's expected that not every setting will import to v9.
