Varxx 0 Posted February 13 Share Posted February 13 I've decided to beef up my anti-virus protection by installing ESET on my Windows virtual machine running on my MacBook Pro (Silicon) using Parallels. When I try to install the downloaded file from within Windows, I get an error message: "This app can't run because it causes security or performance issues on Windows. A new version may be available. Check with you software provider for an updated version that runs on this version of Windows." My Windows version is Windows 11 Pro (ARM). The host machine on which I'm running Parallels is a MacBook M1 Pro running Sonoma 14.3.1. Any ideas? I downloaded what I believe is the current version of ESET Endpoint Security for Windows, from this page: https://eba.eset.com/ba/dashboard I also tried installing ESET Endpoint Antivirus for Windows. According to https://help.eset.com/eea/11/en-US/?sysreq.html, ARM64-based processor, 1 GHz or higher are supported although some features will be unavailable.
