  1. By the way, I put the wrong link for the download page that I used. It should have been https://www.eset.com/us/business/download/
  2. I've decided to beef up my anti-virus protection by installing ESET on my Windows virtual machine running on my MacBook Pro (Silicon) using Parallels. When I try to install the downloaded file from within Windows, I get an error message: "This app can't run because it causes security or performance issues on Windows. A new version may be available. Check with you software provider for an updated version that runs on this version of Windows." My Windows version is Windows 11 Pro (ARM). The host machine on which I'm running Parallels is a MacBook M1 Pro running Sonoma 14.3.1. Any ideas? I downloaded what I believe is the current version of ESET Endpoint Security for Windows, from this page: https://eba.eset.com/ba/dashboard I also tried installing ESET Endpoint Antivirus for Windows. Thank you very much.
  3. OK, thank you, Marcos. That's what I was inferring from several posts, but it helps to have it stated clearly.
  4. Simple question: Before installing ESET Endpoint Protection Standard on a new Windows machine, do I need to disable Windows Defender? My new machine is running Window 11 Pro. I saw Windows Defender discussed in a number of threads, but I still wasn't clear if I needed to manually disable or not. I think Windows itself may do this automatically when a third-party AV is installed, but I wanted to be certain. Thank you.
