Investigate (Inspect) not appear on menu endpoint eset protect server

Hi everyone,

I had the issue with Eset protect server webconsole.

My server does not appear option Investigate (Inspect) ( i installed eset inspect server with this Eset server )

It should be that below :

How to i can enable this option ?

Please post information about the version of your ESET PROTECT server (Help -> About).

Since it's the latest, please raise a support ticket for further troubleshooting of the issue.

Not sure what was the results, but generally actions in the context menu are available only in case users has:

  • permisions to perform actions = in this case permission to access inspect console
  • user has access to inspect license
  • there is a inspect connector deployed and operational = i.e. it makes sense to investigate in the inspect
  • [not sure of last one] at least one "alarm" (inspect detection) from this device is available in the console

If none of his is the case, previous recommendation to open support ticket should help.

Hello,

 

I manage to solve the issue. I had disabled the account that was used on the EI server installation. After re-enabling the account and restarting the server everything is in place.
