Accordingly to documentation, I am running command `sudo bash PROTECTAgentInstaller.sh`, but I got unknown error: ESET Management Agent live installer script. There is only information about unknown error that prevent installing. There is no issue with installing Agent on Windows. avielc 54 Posted September 5, 2023 Share Posted September 5, 2023 the client is installed on macOS Big Sur 11.7.6. it seems when I tried to upgrade the agent from 10.0.xxx to 10.1.3267 the installation failed and the client stopped responding. Agents are able to connect from any platform to any platform the server can be installed on - Linux based or WIndows based. The problem is the installation of the agent fails. need to understand the cause of it. In any case, Thanks, I'll contact support hopefully they will raise a ticket for solution. Grzegorz M 0 Posted September 5, 2023 Author Share Posted September 5, 2023 Not really, I have it installed on Debian 12, which is "not supported" by ESET Protect Server - and this was ruled as potential cause of failing agent installation on macos. That's why I'm asking you about this. It looks like certificate used by agent, generated with Eset Server 10.1 on Debian 12 is somehow invalid for MacOS. It's a single machine issue at the moment. something to do with a Module Error: ApplyCustomPolicy: ModuleManager: Unable to load module MODULE_ID_CONFENG2_ERA. Having the same issue on 2 Macintosh machines (macmini9,1 with m1 processor, macOS 11 (Big Sur)). Current agent version is 10.0.3091.0.
