There won't be ESET Endpoint Security v7, however, EES v8 is scheduled for 24H2.

Thanks for update, it's nice to hear that issue was transient and was fixed for you by upgrade of the product.

    Update:
It seems to be working now after the latest macOS and EES updates.

@Marcos, in our case all devices are running Version 10 (Agent + Endpoint or Server Security) - not version 11.

avielc received kudos from Peter Randziak in EEA for Linux 10.1.8.0 is missing from the repository.
    Thanks Peter,
I meant to show that both EEI and EEA installations are missing previous versions.
I understand that the minor versions usually means no major new features are introduced,
However, in the past I have noticed specific minor version works while another don't. That's why all versions are being tested before mass-deployed.
In any case, both the repo and the main site did not have versions available except the latest.
This is the issue I experienced, on both EP and the website.
    That's kinda major, isn't it?

Joining Nightowl - Forticlient is one of the more widespread VPN used (specifically used by our company + 2 clients I recommended using ESET too.

I Removed the auto upgrade feature just now, thanks for mentioning as it helped me understand it can be removed (or better yet, unassigned)

Against my better judgement, we ran with the default auto-update policy setting when we migrated to the cloud and then almost immediately got bitten by the OS X 7.4 catastrophe.
So I'm back to manually managing the upgrade process. We just can't allow updates to proceed en-masse without sufficient testing first.

    You are welcome.
I already passed the feedback on changelogs to the Product management, they are responsible for the changelogs.

Thank you for that mate, really appreciate your answer.
I have not changed anything in that part.
I'll give it a restart next week as currently i'm deploying 2050 update on windows machine.

    Thanks again.

Inspect on Mac (check release log on the link you provided):

    *second edit*
If you change the Operating system type to macos it would have the write package available (at least UI wise)
    Changelog remains the same.

    Hello @avielc,
    I'm checking it.
I can see 1.11.2882.0 in our EPC, which is the latest version available for macOS https://www.eset.com/int/business/download/inspect/#connector
I can see that the info on a different version for macOS is omitted in https://support.eset.com/en/news8467-eset-inspect-and-eset-inspect-cloud-hotfix-version-1-11-2882-have-been-released 😞 , I passed the report further and it has been fixed in the meantime.

Have you changed the Repository URL?
If not, I would recommend to restart the ESET PROTECT service.

Already tracked. (note for us: G_WISH-4948) it has some prerequisites so it might take time to implement it...

    Hello @avielc,
a colleague suggested an option to subscribe to the Support new RSS feed available at https://support.eset.com which is available in the EPC feed as well

Clicking the link will more information about the new version along with the appropriate changelog.

    Hey Peter,
Can we ask the Dev Team \ product to provide some release notes prior or when a new version is out?
I don't mind being listed for a spam of emails for every minor version that comes out. but I want to know.
To give a small analogy from a "small" company (Blizzard) when they messed up their first update, they decided to publish release notes almost a week prior to actually patching.
This is extremely important for any client base and community, ESET should be no different.

    Another option I thought about:
We have RSS feed in the web Console.
I'm sure there are other options to make sure admins can receive information in a visible and clear manner.

    Thanks

avielc gave kudos to j-gray in EEI | Product not activated (Topic last mentioned on March.)
@avielc; thanks for the thoughts, I appreciate it.
Clean/new installs don't seem to be an issue, at least initially; we image, rename, join to AD, then script the agent install with JAMF. Once installed, dynamic triggers add the AV and Connector.
Specifically in the case of our Windows servers, the connector upgrade caused the EI connector corruption, noted by the 1969 year in the newly created log entries.
NTP is not an issue. Our hierarchy is solid and we'd know pretty quickly if there was any significant time skew. And of course, all of our Windows EI Connectors are working fine with no activation problems (aside from the Server issue mentioned). The majority of the OS X clients seem to behave, but 20% failure rate is still not acceptable.
I'm back to working with support again, so we'll hope to make some progress.

I understand your point, but I assume that once we would say that, most of the users would understand it as our commitment to do the release. More general topic is a Roadmap, those is being shared with the ESET partner network so they can share data based on it with their customers...
Thank you for your words of appreciation.
We thank you for being active member of the community on the ESET Forum.

Of course Peter, I can 100% relate to learning from mistakes of the past. so not holding you up for that.
I would like to add that sometimes when a release date approaches it can be helpful to know ahead of time that there is something to look out for instead of still discussing and working with support as it would be proved worthless to spend more time over something that might get fixed in a day (or few days)
Completely fine wiht me mate, there is no deadline on this, thanks for caring about it.

In general, thanks again for the bit of info about the changelog, truly appreciate that, and it's great to see the positive steps ESET is taking towards customers' requests. (and of course the ESET Forum Staff along with your help in escalatinging these points to help the entire community)

Well... still seems to be a mixed bag. We still have ~150 OS X clients that refuse to activate. And some that have successfully activated in the past and have been activated for some time become inactivated.
Any activation task seems to run for at least a day before it times out. Other tasks run without issue. Uninstalling and reinstalling the connector does not resolve the issue.
I'd also hazard to guess that the EI licensing is still not working properly --we're currently still using only 655/1600 Connector licenses where we should be closer to the full 1600.

    Hi Peter,
I'll try to read between the lines for j-gray here.  (this is also true to me)
usual change log available for any EEA\EES\EP related updates are massively longer.( That's a good thing!)
can you please escalate to EI team to invest some love into the change log too?
As you can see people like me and j, we dig deep. we want to understand the product better and get the broader picture to know if this update is critical or not and whether should be push it to production sooner than later.
This is true and important just as much for EEA\EP as it should be for EI.

Thanks again for all the support mate, really appreciate all that you do for the community here.
