Glitch 3
For our network implementation we use the offline license files to activate ESET Antivirus or Endpoint security depends on the network topology. However with version 10..0.2034.0 release when we do that same command we get: Error Executing command. Has this procedure changed? We can't find it in the release note of this version release. As it is a very large group that we manage by doing it like this we definitely need this to work. Administrators Marcos 4,548 Posted December 19, 2022 Administrators Share Posted December 19, 2022 I don't think it was ever possible. The possibility to activate ESET via ecmd is not described in help files for Endpoint v9 either: https://help.eset.com/ees/9/en-US/idh_config_ecmd.html
Glitch 3
Up to version 9 that was possible
itman 1,496
You can install and activate license using Win installer via cmd prompt/script: Quote msiexec /qn /i ees_nt64_enu.msi ACTIVATION_DATA=key:AAAA-BBBB-CCCC-DDDD-EEEE -or- msiexec /qn /i ees_nt64_enu.msi ACTIVATION_DATA=offline:C:\ProgramData\ESET\ESET\Security\license.lf I didn't see anywhere in the write-up: https://help.eset.com/ees/8/en-US/installation_command_line.html where activation of an installed product could be done. Administrators Marcos 4,548 Posted December 21, 2022 Administrators Share Posted December 21, 2022 Perhaps you meant ermm.exe and not ecmd? https://help.eset.com/ees/10/en-US/rmm_json_commands_start_activation.html
ESET Staff MichalJ 430 Posted January 9 ESET Staff Share Posted January 9 Hello @Glitch absence of this functionality is due to a bug. It will be fixed in next hotfix of EP 10.
