thetoastmonster 0
The new "Banking and Payment protection" option means it's no longer possible to enter an emoji into a web browser by using the Windows emoji input panel, accessed by holding the Windows key and pressing the Period (or Full Stop) key. When the emoji input panel is opened, attempting to type anything results in the characters being replaced by a sequential chain of characters regardless of what is typed. The attached screenshot is a result of me repeatedly pressing the "a" key. Disabling the "Banking and Payment protection" option returns the emoji input to normal. Note that disabling this means it is permanently disabled. This is Eset's anti-keylogging protection which is probably the most important secure financial web site protection. Instead, you can disable the Secure all browsers setting. Then open B&PP via Eset like desktop icon when you wish to perform a secure financial web based transaction. Thanks for the info, it seems that the problem is only on Win11. We will look at it. thetoastmonster
