Administrators Marcos 5,741 Posted May 13, 2022 Administrators Posted May 13, 2022 If certain files are exclusively being used and locked by the operating system, then no other application including AV or possible malware can access them.
nexon 8 Posted May 13, 2022 Author Posted May 13, 2022 Yes i thoguht that,,,, This is same like boot defragmentation right? Locked files can not defrag or move when OS uses it, so boot defrag after restart pc can move files. And in future it is possible to scan these files? Only scan not copy or overwriting files which are in use. Just only scan.
Administrators Marcos 5,741 Posted May 13, 2022 Administrators Posted May 13, 2022 If reading from such files is not permitted by the OS, then scanning is not possible.
nexon 8 Posted May 13, 2022 Author Posted May 13, 2022 But there is a non system files... Forza 5 is game which is not used by OS.

New_Style_xd 73 Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 ESET could not show this information in yellow, because it confuses any user to think that the antivirus is passing infected files. It could show a warning informing. because I've seen several people asking in the past about these files that cannot be scanned.
