ESET Products with Windows 11 Context Menu

File Explorer has been updated in Windows 11. As a result, the context menu doesn't immediately show ESET products options, they are hidden in an overflow area with other options. Apps can extend / implement the new Windows 11 context menu, can we make this happen so ESET products is front and center again in the right-click context menu?

I believe that is related to Microsoft , since they decided to hide most of the options with that new look

You can revert Win 11 Context Menu behavior to that of Win 10. Refer to this posting: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/get-old-right-click-context-menu-back-on-windows-11

You can also set many other Win 11 behaviors to that done in Win 10. Refer to this posting: https://www.tomshardware.com/how-to/windows-11-look-like-windows-10

Still W10 BUT My W11 notes show either a Registry Mod or the utility app - winaerotweaker -- should restore Classic Rt Clk (context) .... AS ALWAYS, IMAGE BKUP or REG BKUP, etc FIRST...

Tip: you may enable the classic context menu in Windows 11 without using a program. Everything relies on the Registry. Here is what you need to do:

  1. Select Start.
  2. Type CMD.
  3. Select run as administrator to open an elevated command prompt window.
  4. To make the classic context menu the default, run the following command:

       reg.exe add “HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32” /f

  1. To restore Windows 11's default right-click context menu instead, run the command

           reg.exe delete “HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}” /f

Yes, this will be implemented as of v15.2.
