ICIT2 0
Hello I am new to this forum and am getting tired of the way that Windows is going and am thinking of switching to Linux Mint as my main operating system. I run Eset Smart Security on all of my Windows machines and am now left wondering if I can install it on any machine that I have Linux based system on - mainly Linux Mint for the peace of mind that I have using my Windows machines. Any advice would be really appreciated. Edited February 19, 2022 by ICIT2 Addition
Administrators Marcos 5,250 Posted February 20, 2022 Administrators Share Posted February 20, 2022 ESET doesn't provide any solution for Linux for home users. For business users we have ESET Endpoint Antivirus for Linux with system requirements listed at https://help.eset.com/eeau/8/en-US/system_requirements.html. Most Valued Members Nightowl 206 Posted February 20, 2022 Most Valued Members Share Posted February 20, 2022 ESET should work for Linux Mint , but it's not officially supported , but since its based on Ubuntu/Debian , it should work the same , but as Marcos said there is only business option.
