is the endpoint being managed or not?

If it is not managed, do you get an update when you manually run the Check for updates?

If yes do you use on-prem or cloud version of ESET PROTECT?

If on-prem, which version do you have deployed?

It will be fixed by Configuration module update, the issue is fixed in 1985(B/D)+ and the bug is not present it the 1981.x branch.

I'm sorry for the delay, was out of office for few days.

What happens if you click on the button? Does it open an ESET KB article in the default browser, or nothing at all?

Is it the message saying that ESET Push Notifications Service servers cannot be reached?

you can use you standard ESET license, if you have spare seats on it.
