Hello

Im using ESET Antivirus 7.0.317.4 and im getting alot of reports about egui.exe crashing but the antivirus seems to work perfectly, i didnt get those on my previous laptop with win 7 installed, only after i bought a new one with win 8, im not sure of the cause of reports but they seem to happen when i restart/shutdown or boot my laptop, recently i had to reset my windows because of another problem but i even after that the reports didnt stop, so anyone know the cause?

Hello Metro,

can you please enable Diagnostics (Open advanced setup -> Tools -> Diagnostics) and set dump type to full?

After that wait until the issue reoccurs compress contents of C:\ProgramData\ESET\ESET Endpoint Security\Diagnostics with SysInspector log and send me a download link.

We will check it.

Regards,

P.R.

Dear Sir,

I seem to have the same problem. Can you give me a solution? or should I also send the diag files?

Looking forward to your kind reply!

Hello SIC, since the OP was from 2014, it might be a good idea to start a new post to better get the Mods attention. Be sure to include all your pertinent information (Windows version, NOD version, errors if any...etc)
