mk77 0 Posted July 21, 2020 Posted July 21, 2020 Hi, how to check from eset management console if the user has not turn off firewall on the computer ? Does esmc 7.2 report firwall settings ?
ESET Staff MartinK 384 Posted July 21, 2020 ESET Staff Posted July 21, 2020 There are multiple alternatives: you can request product configuration from ESMC (client details -> configuration) which will provide you current product configuration you can check protection status alerts reported by product into ESMC (client details -> alerts) but user with access to endpoint configuration might have disabled it so it might not be reliable, but it can be enforced by policy, which will prevent local users from overriding it.
mk77 0 Posted July 22, 2020 Author Posted July 22, 2020 emcs Computers ->show details -> alerts don't monitoring firewall status. After disable firewall on user computer, emcs don't show that firewall was turned off. do I need to configure something else? how to delete eset entopoint configuration from emsc ?
Administrators Marcos 5,453 Posted July 22, 2020 Administrators Posted July 22, 2020 If the firewall is paused, the client will appear with a warning. In client details you can find out what happened: Make sure that there is no policy with these firewall statuses set to be not send to ESMC:
mk77 0 Posted July 22, 2020 Author Posted July 22, 2020 in witch mysql table esmc store problem (firewall is paused) and problem datail ( this functionality is pasuesd...) informations ?
Administrators Marcos 5,453 Posted July 22, 2020 Administrators Posted July 22, 2020 We do not provide description of the ESMC database since it may change with each future version of ESMC. We recommend using API for this. Please contact your local ESET support for details.
