Got a question about updates for detection Engine

Recommended Posts

I went to virus radar today because eset said it had been 13 hours since last update.  I saw at virus radar it was 21449 and I got that last night at 7pm.  What I want to know is that I'm still protected?

Same here in the U.S.. No signature update at boot time. Also forcing the update still did not result in an update.

Might be an issue with Eset update servers.

I've just rolled back a machine from Windows 10 v2004 to v1909 and was greeted on reboot with two ESET alerts:

Detection Engine out of date

ESET LiveGrid is not accessible

Nothing I do updates them so I came here to read this thread.  I can only assume that the servers are down.  I'm in the UK.

LiveGrid is working fine here. Don't know what's going on with updates. @Marcos should be able to answer.

I am on pre-release updating. Perhaps those servers are borked?

Same here. It's not a network issue but something with the update servers.

Something weird is going on. You show 21449P update today at 12:41 PM EST. I received that update last night at 6:47 PM EST.

Again, Eset hasn't pushed a signature update since last evening.

Engine 21449 is the last one available. Do you have an older one? If not, then you are up to date.

Internal serves were under maintenance which took longer than usual. Streamed updates as well as LiveGrid blacklists have been working alright so users were well protected against new borne malware.

After a good TV evening, I see that Brussels is again under protection : 21451.
A (long) (late) spring cleaning is always good. It takes what it takes.
