Does the issue go away after temporarily disabling protocol filtering in the advanced setup? In not, what about temporarily uninstalling ESET?

ESET shouldn't block your access to your gateway.

What is happening when you are trying?

I assume the OP means that the web admin interface of the router is not accessible.

I know , it shouldn't block unless there is a script injected into the router (router is hijacked) and ESET detects and blocks that , but that should make ESET go crazy because it will trigger a detection for everything you try to access.

And I believe the user here is using nod32 av so it's without a firewall , and it can't be a mis-configured firewall rule , as firewall is not available.

So I can't think of another reasons other than the OP is mistaken and his problem with the router isn't related to ESET.

If Eset protection has been fully disabled, it therefore can't be the reason you can't access your router GUI settings via browser interface.
