Administrators Marcos 5,404 Posted December 27, 2019 Administrators Share Posted December 27, 2019 Does the memory usage of ekrn increase that much shortly after you start Windows or it takes several days? Please upgrade Endpoint to the latest v7.2. Should the problem persist, carry on as follows: - in the adv. setup -> tools -> diagnostics -> advanced logging, enable advanced memory tracing - change Dump type to Full - click Create to create a complete dump of ekrn.exe - disable logging - collect logs with ESET Log Collector, upload the generated archive to a safe location and drop me a personal message with a download link. rospondek 0
It was all the time this high. Upgraded to 7.2 and testing. It is now down to 80MB so there is kind of little improvement Will add update tomorrow. Thank you for answer 😃
rospondek 0
OK after two days I've got maximum at 120MB so looks like it was some sort of bug with the 7.0v. Thank you for help 😃 Case closed.
Most Valued Members Nightowl 206 Posted December 31, 2019 Most Valued Members Share Posted December 31, 2019 I wonder why this happens , even in servers the RAM usage for ESET is low like you said in the recent post , 70-100MB maximum. It could be something that is stuck with the 7.0 installation that caused so much RAM Usage , restarting the PC didn't fix anything for you is that right?
