TomFace 539
I see Malwarebytes has released 2.0-anyone download it as of yet? Edited March 31, 2014 by TomFace
SweX 871
Hey Tom. Yep I got it! But I only use MBAM on-demand like I always have so I can't say much about how 2.0 works in real-time.

jadinolf 131
I have the paid Lifetime version on all 5 of my computers (4 Windows 7 and 1 Vista). The only problem I am having is that sometimes I cannot shut down and have to go thru a simple change in procedure to do it. I understand that they will be releasing another set of fixes soon and I hope that this problem will be included. I ran the beta on all 5 of my computers and mentioned the problem on their forum but never saw any other mention of it. Yes, my fingers are crossed. siljaline 57
All versions of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware play well with ESET Products.ESET even encourages users to run an anti-spyware application.

Arakasi 549
This is true I would simply continue use of Malwarebytes for the second db and Registry object scanning it performs.
VigenTests 6
This is true I would simply continue use of Malwarebytes for the second db and Registry object scanning it performs. Hello Arakasi Proper configuration of HIPS and all problems are solved This avoids having to install a second scanner Regards; Vigen.
Arakasi 549
Who said i had problems ? I have multiple on-demand scanners, and ESET does not have the registry object scanning that Malwarebytes has .
Arakasi 549
Have a look here : https://forum.eset.com/topic/1714-eset-and-malwarebytes-comparison/
Seagull 8
I used to use Malwarebytes but I no longer use it nor do I recommend them. I believe in only having 1 resident real time scanner, anything more is asking for trouble, thats just my opinion. I tried using Malwarebytes 2.0 realtime protection with ESET Smart Security 7 and seen a very big noticeable performance hit, even with exclusions set. On Demand scanning for Malwarebytes would be fine I guess, but, I wouldn't use its real time protection I believe ESET offers adequate protection for me, and don't see the need for any outside assistance from Malwarebytes. Just my opinion.
SweX 871
Yes having Malwarebytes around for on-demand scans is always a good idea

Who said i had problems ? I have multiple on-demand scanners, and ESET does not have the registry object scanning that Malwarebytes has . Please explain how this is related to me ? It has nothing to do with me, and your accusations are incorrect. I don't give mixed signals, i use MBAM with real time protection and have no issues. The facts are stated in the link i provided in post #11, that link also does not dismiss mbam, nor eset. What is generalized about the link i provided and the statement i made. TomFace 539
When Malwarebytes 2.0 was introduced, I actually started using it in real time. So far ho hick-ups or hang-ups. I do regard ESET SS7 as my main work horse. Each serve their own purpose. Edited April 26, 2014 by TomFace

If you also would have used a smiley such as then it would probably have been a little bit easier to figure out.
