bpinkard 0
With Eset Endpoint Antivirus active, changes made to a (HTML format) email item created by a template (*.oft) are not saved (as expected) when the item is "Sent". Our experience is with Outlook 2010. There is no information generated in the Eset log or other indication that Eset is taking action. Any idea on what might be happening. Of note, specifically saving the item prior to sending does preserve the changes.

bpinkard 0
With Eset Endpoint AV active/enabled.... 1. Create html format email with text "Now is the time to come to the aid of your countrymen" and save to file system as test.oft 2. Open test.oft. 3. Change "Now" to "Yesterday" and click Send 4. Open sent folder, review sent item... is an exact match to test.oft. (Now) Disable Eset Endpoint AV Repeat 1-3 above.... 4. Open sent folder, review sent item....sent item will be "Yesterday is the time to come to the aid of your countrymen"
Administrators Marcos 5,259 Posted February 17, 2014 Administrators Share Posted February 17, 2014 I was unable to reproduce it with Outlook 2010 on Windows 7. Does any of the following resolve the problem? - disabling scanning of sent email - disabling ESET integration with MS Outlook - starting Outlook in safe mode (outlook.exe /safe)
