DirectC 0
Hello, over quite some time I have a problem, when system is trying to perform backup it starts but it never finishes. When I turn off IS then backup is performing without any problem. Could you help me out? Cheers
ESET Moderators Peter Randziak 1,081 Posted September 7, 2018 ESET Moderators Share Posted September 7, 2018 Hello, what solution do you use to back up your system? Can you try to disable the real-time protection to see, if you are able to complete the backup without it? Regards, P.R.
DirectC 0
Hello, when Internet Security is off I can finish my backup. Cheers

Do you mean that it works when real-time protection is paused? Because it is not possible to turn off protection unless you rename ekrn.exe in safe mode or uninstall ESET. Administrators Marcos 4,909 Posted September 7, 2018 Administrators Share Posted September 7, 2018 You didn't mention what sw you use for backup. Would it be possible to try a different one to see if the same issue occurs? At any rate, I'd suggest contacting customer care and providing them with a Procmon log from an issue replication as well as ELC logs gathered from that machine.
