Administrators Marcos 4,716 Posted July 1, 2017 Administrators Share Posted July 1, 2017 Do you mean ERA components, ESET Security products or operating system by "software"? Only these can be updated via a task from ERA.

Administrators Marcos 4,716 Posted July 1, 2017 Administrators Share Posted July 1, 2017 Create a software install task for desired clients / group, select the latest product version from the repository and that's it. Agent on the clients will download the latest version and install it over the current one. I'd recommend doing this at the time when you can afford to restart the computers. A restart will be required for new drivers to get loaded.
Tuxedo 0
Ah, ok. But i have to filter wich product is installed, or? I can't select "All" PCs and say "Update to new Version".?
ESET Insiders rekun 41 Posted July 2, 2017 ESET Insiders Share Posted July 2, 2017 Nope, you have to select the groups you want to upgrade. I have created a dynamic group that checks is the clients version is not equal to the newest one, and then apply the task to that group
ESET Staff janoo 11 Posted July 4, 2017 ESET Staff Share Posted July 4, 2017 Hi, use Software install task ( https://help.eset.com/era_admin/65/en-US/index.html?client_tasks_software_install.htm ) and use the trigger (joined dynamic gropup) to run this task over a special dyn group, as rekun wrote.
