el el amiril gave kudos to Marcos in eOppFrame.exe detected by process explorer
Definitely FP. SecureAge is not one of the most popular and reputable AV vendors I'd say.

el el amiril gave kudos to Nightowl in yandex malware
It's a PUA , Possible Unwanted Application
https://help.eset.com/glossary/en-US/unwanted_application.html
You can read about the Detection Type more here, and for an alternative that doesn't have a detection , check out ProtonVPN
To make your ESET detect it , you need to open detection for PUAs

el el amiril gave kudos to itman in RPC server denied?
Again;
If you disable that rule, you will bork a bunch of necessary internal network activity.

el el amiril gave kudos to Marcos in system restore fail eset bug
Does temporarily disabling self-defense or the whole HIPS followed by a reboot make a difference? Don't forget to re-enable it afterwards.

el el amiril gave kudos to itman in Does Eset Detect This?
https://www.fortinet.com/blog/threat-research/evil-extractor-all-in-one-stealer
I checked the first two IOCs listed below at VT and Eset didn't detect them;

You can open the wizard via Help and support -> Technical support in gui or by opening this link: https://go.eset.com/contact-support/

el el amiril gave kudos to Marcos in app hangs no response
Are you able to reproduce the issue at any time? If so, please raise a support ticket and provide:
- a dump of egui.exe
- logs collected with ESET Log Collector

el el amiril gave kudos to Marcos in Payment suggestion
Regarding payment you must contact the distributor from whom website / e-store you want to purchase the license. Payments are handled locally by particular partners.

el el amiril gave kudos to itman in Suspicious startup app
Also apps that run at startup are shown here:
-
el el amiril gave kudos to itman in Suspicious startup app
I just noticed that the icon for Startup appears to be the one you're complaining about on your desktop toolbar. How it got there is beyond me.

What app are you referring to? The gray colored box with an angled arrow pointer? Right mouse click on it to show what the icon refers to.

el el amiril gave kudos to Marcos in Is there an expiry date on the activation code for the boxed version?
It depends on when the distributor generated the code on the box and if they renew its validity after expiration. I'd recommend to activate the product as soon as possible and not to wait with activation for years when the code may be already expired.

el el amiril gave kudos to itman in html refresher false positive?
Same here. No problem accessing the website in Firefox.

el el amiril gave kudos to Marcos in html refresher false positive?
It's indeed a redirector code which is detected, however, I was not able to reproduce the detection by going to the said website and entering a url to be opened via a proxy.

el el amiril gave kudos to Marcos in html refresher false positive?
I could not reproduce the detection. Please provide logs collected with ESET Log Collector.

el el amiril gave kudos to itman in Cash on Delivery for premium eset
Do you have a friend or relative that lives in an area they delivery to? Go there to complete the transaction or, have them to so and you then reimbuse them.

el el amiril gave kudos to Marcos in I'm using Internet security and it started to cause problems
Please post suggestions only if they could lead to a resolution. Resetting ESET settings to defaults will not remove the unwanted stuff from the website.

el el amiril gave kudos to Marcos in I'm using Internet security and it started to cause problems
There's a link to a malicious / blocked site in the code which has been blocked for several months already. Also there's a heavily obfuscated JS which I suspect to be adware:
-
el el amiril gave kudos to itman in Eset Inactive
I assume because the startup scan is only run at system startup or sig. update time.
-
el el amiril gave kudos to itman in Eset Inactive
Then the inactive e-mail settings are N/A to your Eset installation.

el el amiril gave kudos to itman in Computrace and UEFI Archive Damaged
Computrace is not malware. Rather view it as firmware based software that is vulnerable to being hacked.
-
el el amiril gave kudos to itman in Computrace and UEFI Archive Damaged
The fact that Eset detects damaged archives in the UEFI is enough reason to download the latest BIOS version and reflash/update the BIOS/UEFI.
-
el el amiril gave kudos to itman in Computrace and UEFI Archive Damaged
It is odd that Computrace is installed since the Nitro model series was developed for gaming activities.
Computrace is usually installed on laptops/notebooks designed to support commercial environments.
-EDIT- I suggest you contact Acer tech support as to if CompuTrace was installed on your device at its manufacturing facility.

el el amiril gave kudos to Marcos in License
It's up to our partners whether they'll offer 2 or 3 year licenses. It's likely that more countries will stop offering 3-year licenses this year.
