  1. Then Then the customer care should have asked you to rename drivers, one by one (except edevmon.sys) in safe mode. There are two instances of each driver, one in C:\Windows\System32\drivers and the other one in "C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Security\Drivers" and both need to be renamed. Customer care should then reach out to ESET HQ for further assistance. Forums do not work as CRM systems where we could track the development of cases and ensure timely response.
  2. I was unable to download the tool since authentication is required. Please narrow it down by disabling protocol filtering, real-time protection and HIPS (requires a computer restart). Then open a ticket for your local customer care and provide them with: - step-by-step instructions to reproduce the issue - ELC logs - information about the protection module or setting you had to disable for the issue to go away.
  3. The application served by the blocked address is detected as Win64/SystemRequirementsLab PUA so the PUA block is ok and it's not a false positive. The question is why on earth RadeonSettings.exe attempt to access that url.
  4. How did you solve it? Because having 5 active license is not a reason for getting the said message.
  5. Rules are evaluated in the order in which appear in the list. That said, instagram.com is blocked because the first rule blocks access to social networks and instagram.com falls into that category. The second allowing rule is not evaluated because the first one was already matched. If you want to allow access to Instagram and block access to other social networks, put the second rule on top.
  6. Module updates are fully automatic. Once released, clients will get it automatically without your intervention. Since it will be released in batches, it may happen that some clients will get it a bit earlier than the others.
  7. You can re-activate ESET by sending a Product activation task with the appropriate license selected while creating it.
  8. Only an image can be linked through a url. I think the main reason for this is to prevent situations when the url would be inaccessible and users would not get any information then. If the url to the image is inaccessible, it's not a big issue since the user gets a notice at least.
  9. Modules are independent of new installers (for instance, consumer products come without modules bundled and they are downloaded after activation). We're gonna start releasing the Antivirus and antispyware module 1553 gradually to all users soon, probably within this week.
  10. It appears that you have ESET Endpoint Antivirus. Web Control is included only in ESET Endpoint Security. For blocking websites you can use URL address management, however, without the option to choose a custom note and graphics.
  11. Hello, since this is an English forum, we kindly ask you to post in English so that users and moderators understand you and are able to assist you. As to your question, I'd recommend enabling advanced logging under Help and support -> Details for customer care and run manual update. Next stop logging, collect logs with ESET Log Collector and provide the generated archive to your local customer care. Also you can post it here (only ESET staff will have access to the file).
  12. A private message with your U/P sent. I was able to find your license by your forum's registration email address.
  13. In that case you need to turn to the seller or to your local support with a proof of purchase (e.g. receipt). Activation codes on boxes need to be registered first on the web and then you'll receive a registration email.
  14. And what is the url that is blocked? Please copy and paste the whole row from the Filtered websites log.
  15. Do you have some custom rules created? If not, could you try switching to interactive mode for a while and create an allowing rule when asked about the network communication?
  16. The detection is correct. PUAs are not malware and detection is optional. For more information what PUAs are, please read https://support.eset.com/kb2629. If you think that benefits of using a particular PUA outweigh possible risks, you can exclude such PUA from detection by the detection name.
  17. I assume he is not logged as the ESMC Adminsitrator (the default admin account). If he's logged under another administrator account, most likely this user has a shorter autologout set:
  18. There are currently no such plans since products for home users are not meant to be installed in a managed environment and are intended for attended installation.
  19. Activation cannot be performed silently or using a command. In managed environment, for this purpose there are dynamic groups in ESMC and activation tasks.
  20. I'd say it should work. If it doesn't, please contact your local customer care since developers will probably need to look into it.
  21. Since Remote Assistance utilizes RDP, it should be disabled to prevent exploitation of RDP on unpatched computers. Perhaps the easiest would be to disable the Remote Desktop Services service in services.msc. If you need to use RDP in your local network, install the security patches. ESET Internet Security and ESET Smart Security Premium as well as all v7 business products can prevent exploitation of unpatched computers as well, however, it's recommended to not delay installation of critical security patches.
  22. Then please follow my instructions above that I posted on June 11.
  23. If you mean that your files got encrypted and now have the said extension, if you are an ESET user with a valid license please submit the following to samples[at]eset.com: - a handful of examples of encrypted files (ideally Office document) - the ransomware note with payment info - logs collected by ESET Log Collector.
  24. We were able to reproduce it with high-DPI scaling when connected through RDP. The change causing the issue was made in 2017. It will be fixed in the final v12.2.
