efs4500 0 Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 EFS 4.5.12071 installed on win2003(32-bit), if turn on the WEB protection, software(just like flshget or fdm ) only can single thread download and not support resume broken transfer；when WEB protection is turned off, the software can multithread download，do not have this problem.

efs4500 0 Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 I tried other versions，efs4.3 has the same problem。efs6.2 and eavbe4.2 both works fine，no this problem。By the way，when officially stop support the eavbe4.2。

However, I wouldn't recommend using v4 and older any more as they are weak in terms of protection from newly emerging threats. Old products do not support features like ESET LiveGrid, HIPS, Advanced memory scanner or Exploit Blocker which have proved to be effective against them. Also from my experience I can tell that it's mainly users with old versions who get infected.
