ameneses54 1
Hi, new to ESET How do you set firewall exclusions for a particular program running on the computer. I used Norton and it can easily be done from a list of programs which have a particular firwall default. I want to choose if a program can send or receive data. Administrators Marcos 5,234 Posted September 9, 2015 Administrators Share Posted September 9, 2015 I'd add that in automatic mode (set by default) all outbound communication is permitted and all non-initiated inbound communication is blocked. That said, you shouldn't need any rules to permit communication for specific applications unless you use the policy-based mode.
