Phone Locked after disabling ESET Security as a device administrator

Recommended Posts

I installed ESET Security and ran it. I followed all the Anti-Theft instructions, one of which was to allow it as a device administrator, so I activated it. After a while, I tried to disable ESET Security as a device administrator through my phone’s settings because I got a little worried. Once I disabled it, my phone locked up on me out of nowhere, and I was completely caught off guard. Why did that happen?

I had registered Google account A as my ESET HOME account. To unlock my device, I need to enter the password for Google account A. The problem is, I can’t remember it because it’s super long and random to protect against brute force attacks and password hash hacking.

Google account A is only logged in on my locked phone, so I’m the only one who can fully control that account. But now I can’t, because the phone is locked. If I try to logging into Google account A on my mom’s phone, it won’t work because I don’t remember the password so I can’t log into ESET HOME through my mom’s phone to get the unlock code.

So, the only way to interact with me is through my mom’s account. If you need to send any updates regarding this issue, please email my mom.

I need urgent help unlocking my phone. Thank you for your attention!
