Does ESET Smart Security Premium Support Window Policy Tampering?

I would like to know if malware can alter or tamper with Windows Policies without ESET detecting it?

ESET should detected malware and block its execution in the first place. If you want to protect certain registry keys and values from being tampered with, you can create custom HIPS rules.
