EjEm 0
Figma Desktop App communication was blocked on macOS Endpoints. I had to whitelist *.figma.com. https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/19424714305943 Can we somehow analyze why do communication was blocked ? figma.com is a legit app used by many users. Administrators Marcos 5,235 Posted January 22 Administrators Share Posted January 22 The url is not blacklisted by ESET. I assume that you have port 443 in the list of ports to scan which may cause issues with some applications.
EjEm 0
There is a default configuration used. What should I disable/tune ? thanks
Administrators Marcos 5,235 Posted January 22 Administrators Share Posted January 22 Please make sure that port 443 is not in the list of http ports. It's not there by default:

Administrators Marcos 5,235 Posted January 22 Administrators Share Posted January 22 Does temporarily disabling Web access protection make a difference? Please prepare logs for technical support by enabling advanced protocol filtering logging and diagnostic logging verbosity prior to reproducing the issue. Raise a support ticket and provide the logs collected as per https://support.eset.com/en/kb3404.
EjEm 0
Yes, but I left web access ON and put *.figma.com to "blocked" address list. Do you still need a ticket & logs or it's some simple fix ?
Administrators Marcos 5,235 Posted January 23 Administrators Share Posted January 23 2 minutes ago, EjEm said: Yes, but I left web access ON and put *.figma.com to "blocked" address list. I'm not sure if i follow but didn't you want to allow access to the site *.figma.com? Why did you add it to the blocked address list then? If it's accessed via https, then port 443 would have to be added to the list of http ports.
EjEm 0
If I understand it well it's in reverse, as description on the info symbol. In "URL ADDRESS MANAGEMENT" Blocked - You can specify which addresses will be excluded from protocol content filtering by using a URL address/mask list. Allowed - You can specify for which addresses protocol content filtering will be allowed by using a URL address/mask So I wanna exclude content filtering for that URL so I put it to the blocked address list. Or am I wrong ?
Administrators Marcos 5,235 Posted January 24 Administrators Share Posted January 24 It was confirmed by developers that the "Blocked" list contains urls that are not scanned for malware and are blocked. Please make sure to remove the url frm the "Blocked" url list.
